What do all of these things have in common? Nothing really, but they all know how to screw Seattle fans over.I would like to say congrats to the two biggest asses in the NBA for the "good faith effort" in screwing Seattle in the ass... but no it doesn't stop here, because it was a whole group effort. First off this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for that fucker former Sonics owner Howard Schultz... when he sold the team to a bunch of outsiders. He should of known that they wanted to move the Sonics from day one, but now he wants to save his ass and cleans things up. Even if he gets the team back, he's no savior. Shit, why should we praise somebody for cleaning up his own mess. he's not a fucking kid, he doesn't even deserve a cookie. Mr. Starbucks (Howard Schultz) is not the only man who decided to take off their pants and T-Bag Seattle. I am very disappointed in mayor Greg Nickels. This man looked like he was going to stand by his word and try his best to keep the Sonics for the last two year of their lease, but no. Mayor Nickels decided to take the settlement and run with the money. Instead of the fans best interest. I know his intentions were not bad, but Seattle didn't get a guarantee for a future team. As a ex Sonics fan It's hard to feel optimistic about even getting another NBA team here in Seattle. I read a comment on a ESPN article and the person stated that if Raiders and the Rams can get stripped away from the second biggest market Los Angeles, the Sonics getting stripped from Seattle is nothing. and as you can see the NFL doesn't need L.A.. Believe me, does the NBA need Seattle? I don't want to say this but no. All this talk about we're a bigger market than Oklahoma City is true, but it doesn't matter to David Stern and the NBA. In the end, Schultz, Bennett, Stern and Nickels just gathered around the Seattle fans and gave us all a golden shower... kinda ironic that we got rained on a bit today
